Vehicle Description 1950 MG TD (Restored) VIN# XPAGTDL1HX1121 Mileage:
73836 Fully restored by collector with a commitment to detail.
Very fine example this MG TD underwent a full rotisserie restoration.
The extensive documentation shows the monetary commitment but the time and energy that went into this car in truly immense and it shows.
Engine & Transmission:
The car runs strong and engine is exceptionally nice.
It delivers power whenever you want it.
The car has been upgraded to a 5-speed manual transmission and shifts very smoothly, this allows the car to cruising at speed comfortably.
The underside of the car is extremely clean (see detailed photos).
The front sway-bar has been upgraded.
All mechanicals have been refurbished or replaced during the ground up restoration.
There are extensive receipt's in the (detailed photo link) to show the large monetary commitment to this car.
Body:
The body panels are all straight.
All glass is in great shape.
The paint is extremely nice even up close.
I am pretty particular when it comes to condition and after close examination I could only find three small blemishes in the paint and a small discolor in the chrome top of the radiator (see detailed photos and video).
All other chrome is nice.
The soft top is new and the collector had a high quality Broad-cloth top installed instead of the other less expensive versions.
The top functions very well and the brackets for the side curtains are included with the sale.
The car has never been hit and is kept with collectors other cars in a heated garage.
Interior:
The interior is new.
All doors are excellent.
The dash and instruments work as they should.
New carpet throughout.
Exceptional workmanship see detailed photos and video.

Summary:
The collector of this car is keen on keeping his cars mechanically solid for use.
This is a wonderful example of a classic MG TD.
It is in exceptional condition and perfect for cruising and taking to car shows.
The collector obviously spared no expense in the restoration, a true labor of love and passion with great attention to detail.
There are extensive receipts to show documentation and great expense put into this car, the best way to buy a car in my opinion is to have someone take on a project of this magnitude and then the buyer reaps the benefit of a finished car.
A joy to own and drive.
