Director, Applied Information Management Program, Academic Extension University of Oregon Academic Extension (AE) facilitates unique learning opportunities, including online courses, professional development workshops and conferences, lifelong learning, and summer session programs. Working closely with academic partners from across the University of Oregon campus, Academic Extension offers credit and noncredit opportunities to meet the various needs of those in our community. AE seeks applications to fill an Officer of Administration position of Director of Applied Information Management (AIM) for its Continuing Education division. The successful candidate for AIM Director will oversee all aspects of the fully online Applied Information Management Masters Degree Program and related activities. Responsibilities encompass leadership for all aspects of the AIM Program including: (a) day-to-day management within the Program and throughout the university; (b) outreach and communication within the professional information management community; (c) academic oversight and leadership of AIM students and faculty; and (d) online teaching in the Program. This position is fixed term,1.0 FTE, renewable annually based on performance and funding. Employment begins January 1, 2015. Salary is commensurate with experience based on a full time (12 month) salary of $80,000 - $135,000. Excellent benefits. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
