The purpose of this position is to support assigned business units from a financial perspective, ensuring that the financial infrastructure is maintained.
Manage reporting and financial processes to ensure timely and accurate financial and operational information
Proactively identify and facilitate business process and systems improvements to enhance reporting and analysis
Ensure that appropriate controls and processes are in place to safeguard company assets
Make sure that reporting is in compliance with GAAP
Make certain that best practices are implemented and followed for organizational and functional development
## Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree (5
years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
Minimum 3 years experience as a financial analyst
Advanced skills in Excel
Additional Qualifications
MBA and/or CPA is preferred
Proven knowledge of GAAP, particularly accounting and internal control dynamics
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, general ledger and reconciliation processes, forecasting, budget management, and development of controls and procedures
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate financial results & issues to senior management and non-financial audiences
Ability to influence others in a productive manner to improve business processes and results
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint
Experience with Business Objects and Hyperion Planning/Essbase applications a plus
