Essential
o Certificate of Trade Studies/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering.
o 5+ years experience in a technical sales role preferably
services
related and not exclusive to products only.
o 5+ years experience as a technical supervisor in offshore oil and gas industry with particular focus on operational and maintenance aspects on Mobile Offshore Drilling Units ( MODU's).
o Ability to work independantly whilst maintaing good communication o Ability to work with clients (office and site) o High degree of literacy and numerancy
o Ability to prioritise leads and maintian flexibility in travel schedules o Conversant with MS Word , Excel and Microsoft Project at a minimum

Role The Technical Sales role is responsible for identification, tracking and closing of opportunities that will allow the business to achieve its short and long term financial targets.
Key Responsibilities this role will be required to:
o Secure sufficient opportunities to generate profitable sales income
o Perform all areas of client liaison and sales support to include identifying clients, presenting capabilities, responding to RFQs / Tenders, submitting and tracking quotations / proposals, and obtaining client feedback post project.
o Identify new service opportunities
o Perform regular visits and presentations to new and existing clients
o Develop and maintain key account relationships that support long term customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth.
o Secure sales contracts within budgeted pricing guideline and ensure that they are executed in accordance with policies and procedures of the company.
o Secure additional revenue from identified new opportunities, and take action to mitigate risks and any negative variances.
o Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports and oversee our database in Salesforce.com
o Conduct sales and budget reviews that identify new opportunities for revenue growth, and identify negative variances to our approved plan.
o Collaborate with regional management to develop and refine our service offerings and value proposition
o Be aware and provide feedback of relevant service trends in the industry
o Promote effective communication and interaction between Clients departments
o Contribute to discussions regarding existing and future service provision and pricing
o Work closely with the Technical Manager(s) to ensure successful delivery of service (safely, high quality, within budget)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
