Our Client Service Specialist serve an important role in the hospital as the first and last point of contact for our clients.
The position requires a practical knowledge of the clinic's procedures and policies.
The Client Service Specialist is expected to perform the office duties related to providing exceptional patient care and to assist the hospital manager, doctors and teammates as needed.
The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude and the ability to maintain professionalism in difficult situations.
This is a full time position; scheduled days and hours may vary based on hospital need.
Weekend work is possible.
This position may require standing for long periods of time and some heavy lifting may be involved.
Job Duties and Client Service:
Provides high quality customer service with compassion Efficient and accurate scheduling and medical record documentation Provide clients with clear instructions for testing, surgical procedures and appointments.
Ability to read and understand medical records and terminology Maintains appearance and cleanliness of the waiting room and reception area, including re-stocking of products, office supplies, client educational materials, hospital brochures, etc.
Communicates professionally with clients using a variety of communication tools, including phone calls, text messages and emails.
Properly handles cash and other payments Other Responsibilities Works with clients, patients and coworkers in a respectful and professional manner.
Possesses a willing and cheerful attitude.
Attends and participates in staff meetings Possesses the ability to communicate using proper grammar, punctuation and professional language in all forms of communication.
Is punctual, reliable and well organized Possesses a desire to continually learn and improve Ability to work independently and stay attentive during down time Job Type:
