This position is responsible for providing leadership in developing, planning, organizing and directing the programs associated with the homeless and emergency services provided by the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Providing leadership to and working with a team of managers and program coordinators to establish ongoing support across the department.
Ensuring that HES Shelters are functioning safely, effectively, and in contract compliance.
Building, establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and multi-agency agreements.
Collecting and maintaining required information, data and records across multiple programs.
Managing and analyzing financial information for multiple programs, including revenues and expenditures, to ensure all operations are within budget.
Demonstrating cultural humility and collaboratively working in diverse settings, providing professional support to staff members and program clients.
OTHER DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Models professionalism and promotes teamwork while working cooperatively with multiple agencies and diverse partners.
Maintain adherence to Company and contract policies, safety standards and HR compliance.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a non-profit setting.
Prefer Bachelor's Degree in social work, public administration or related field.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills with budgetary and supervisory experience.
Demonstrated understanding of the diverse needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Ability and willingness to work unusual hours as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Previous work experience and understanding of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, creatively problem-solve, enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible, organization and collaborative.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND:
Intense and/or exacting mental and/or visual attention; the work involves visualizing, planning, laying out, or otherwise performing very involved and complex work.
