Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in all the propertys maintenance needs, physical appearance, and work orders.
The Maintenance Technicians primary responsibilities include hands on maintenance of the property including general upkeep and repair to units and the grounds, responding according to company policy to work order requests, turn and make ready, maintaining excellent resident relations through superior customer service.
On call & some weekend availability required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain positive resident relations through superior service Participate in the daily operations of the property General maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities; including coordinating warranty work & vendors, landscape work, pressure washing, blowing, painting, basic maintenance Ability to lift over 50 lbs & stand for long periods of time Respond to Work Order per company policy Grounds and exterior upkeep as needed The Turn and Make Ready process
inspecting units for move in readiness Conduct regular health and safety inspections Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems Ensuring company policy and state and federal safety and fair housing laws are met Ensures company, state, and federal policies and laws are being met Assists the Maintenance Supervisor to better the property and position through great ideas COMPENSATIONWe offer an excellent compensation packet including a very competitive salary (DOE), bonus potential, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, flexible spending account, HSA, etc.
Hourly Wage:
$17.

EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required EXPERIENCE A minimum of 1 year maintenance experience required Maintenance experience in multi-unit complexes or hotels preferred Experience with plumbing, electrical and HVAC preferred HVAC Certification preferred Mechanical background preferred REQUIREMENTS Good organizational and people skills Knowledge of general carpentry and repair Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment Ability to use hand tools and power tools A valid drivers license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required A passion to serve residents, parents, vendors, and colleagues PM21PI227619635 Recommended Skills Carpentry Construction Toolkits Customer Service Hvac Heavy Equipment Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
