SUMMARY This position is responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of the lab premises.
Duties will also include assisting lab supervisor and technicians with daily tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Management may assign or reassign the functions to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.
Communicate with internal and external customers in a manner that promotes a positive relationship.
Clean computers, countertops, windows, floors, sink glass ware, work areas and dump or fill all fluids and waste oils when needed.
Assist in performing chemical and physical tests on samples as assigned.
Process samples in a timely manner.
Assist in entering data as directed and keep database files updated.
Use appropriate equipment to assist running the following tests:
Particle count Viscometer Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
Work overtime as needed and within labor law guidelines.
QUALIFACTIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
