The position:
As the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in diversified industries, including electronics, medical, aviation, motor vehicles, mechanical components, and composites.
Your primary focus will be on developing strategic partnerships, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence.

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our presence across our diversified industries.
Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Conduct thorough market research, including competitor analysis, to identify potential customers, market segments, and key decision-makers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand the customer base, and increase revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and tailor solutions.
Lead the negotiation and closing of complex business deals, including contracts, partnerships, and joint ventures, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the Company.
Provide competitive information and establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.
Monitor contracts for multi-year annual requirements for price adjustments and other conditions.
Conduct regular sales meetings and reviews to assess team performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, highlighting business development activities, progress, and achievements.
Direct the promotion of our products and services to develop new markets and increase our market share.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and finance, to develop innovative solutions and meet customer expectations.
Represent the Company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and build a robust professional network.
Position Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on diversified sectors.
Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable business strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated and independently driven, with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
Preferred Education & Experience Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, university or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Sage 300 and NetSuite Exposure and understanding of progressive die tooling and high-speed stamping, as well as composite materials and technology Physical Requirements Note:
