Starting $19 Multiple shifts available Job Description The DSP (caregiver) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.

No Experience? If you meet the basic job requirements, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
Prepare meals and snacks.
May include grocery shopping.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
Assist with transportation needs.
Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Have a passion to help others People-oriented and have a team approach Dependable, adaptable, flexible Must be able to provide references Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training Candidates without a valid driver's license can be considered for overnight shifts Successful candidates will be required to meet all Oregon State Department of Human Services requirements Additional Information Full Time & part-time; multiple shift opportunities available Overtime available Opportunities for internal growth & career advancement Comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time employees.
