Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Sales Support Associate to join our team.
In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and sales support to our wholesale customers, primarily focused on Nike & Will Leather Goods.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with customers through sales calls and email correspondence.
Additionally, you will provide essential support in various areas such as order entry, stock allocation, payment processing, and handling return authorizations (RA's) and FedEx shipping labels.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service and Sales Support:
Engage in proactive communication with wholesale customers.
Conduct sales calls to nurture existing customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer needs and exceed sales targets.
Order Processing and Inventory Management:
Accurately enter orders into the system, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Allocate stock appropriately based on customer demands and availability.
Process payments and invoices to facilitate smooth transactions.
Handle return authorizations (RA's) and generate FedEx shipping labels for customer returns.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate and analyze reports related to backorders, new orders, and stock business intelligence (BI).
Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of sales and inventory data.
Computer Skills and System Management:
Proficiently use software systems such as AIMS, Excel, and Word to perform daily tasks.
Utilize NuOrder campaigns to update styles, inventory, images, and customer information.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with AIMS and NuOrder systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of inventory management and order processing procedures.
Flexibility to travel occasionally for trade show coordination.
