It's time to use your skills and passion to do work that matters! Job Description Peterson Cat has an immediate need for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Person at our Eugene, OR location.
SUMMARY Perform facilities maintenance work, as directed, and assists in helping others in maintenance department project work.

Other duties may be assigned.
Perform repairs to building and fixed facility equipment.
Remove and replace broken equipment.
Perform plumbing and electrical repairs as required.
Replace ballasts, light fixtures, and bulbs.
Paint facilities as needed.
Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and materials required for facilities maintenance.
Ensure proper inventory levels of repair parts so repairs can be made in a timely manner.
Purchase repair parts; process paperwork.
Ability to work overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends due to project assignments.
Attend scheduled training and departmental meetings.
Operate company or personal vehicle as needed.
Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of three years of related experience in facilities maintenance and operations; preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Understanding of maintenance function and ability to perform maintenance-related tasks.
Should have basic working knowledge of most kinds of shop tooling, plant equipment, and building systems.
Should be knowledgeable in repair options and time requirements.
