We are hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at our Eugene, Oregon branch.
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee general warehouse staff and coordinate efficient inventory and distribution.
Some duties include but are not limited to communicating with clients and customers, managing warehouse inventory, improving warehouse policies and procedures, and coordinating route deliveries.
The right person for this role will have a strong work ethic, possess exceptional communication skills, and has a proven background in logistics or distribution.
Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse including administration, operations and safety.
Assist in figuring warehouse quotes working with customer or sales department.
Recommend changes in existing warehouse policies and procedures.
Ensure all warehouse procedures and forms are applied correctly and consistently.
Direct and coordinate activities of departmental staff.
Responsible for communicating needs, expectations, results, and information to others; managing employee performance; hiring and firing; managing delegated tasks; and developing employees' skills and knowledge.
Set strategy and goals for efficient warehouse operations.
Maintain budget.
Develop personal and professional skills and abilities.
Provide immediate, personable service to all customers, internal and external.
Maintain positive customer relationships.
Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year in a leadership position and/or 5 years of industry experience.
Demonstrates innovation and seeks to improve business competence.
Deals with conflict or difficult situations in a constructive and timely manner.
Basic financial and statistical knowledge.
Ability to solve complex problems.
Provides timely communication verbally and in writing with exceptional skill.
Committed to Lile, its principles, objectives, and goals.
High school diploma or equivalent.
This is a full-time position with some overtime - evenings and weekends required as necessary.
