Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

years in a related customer service experience/retail role, preferred.
Previous serving experience, preferred.
Current state alcohol pouring card and food handling card.
If not currently in possession of one, able to obtain one within 14 days of hire.
Ability to use a computer and learn our Point-of-Sale system, Distillery Manager software program and other programs used by HDC.
A sincere passion for excellence in all aspects of customer service.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to represent HDC in a professional manner, both in writing and in person.
Attention to detail and pride in work for both internal projects and those that serve our customers and clients.
The ability to problem-solve and use sound judgment and work without direct supervision.
Able to work independently but also as a true team member; assume necessary duties as assigned.
Attend company-wide and department staff meetings as indicated by the Tasting Room Supervisor.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Review Tasting Room merchandising to current set/standards, facing and infilling.
Ensure all merchandise is properly price tagged and shelf chalk notations are accurate to the product merchandised above.
Include refreshing/replacement of promotional 11x17 and 8.
5x11 signs and 5x7 cards as needed.
Support new spirit product launches with consistent and aggressive sampling, eye catching displays, sales goals, and appropriate Team motivation/appreciation.
Identify, and recommend to Tasting Room Supervisor ongoing, retail merchandise for clearance sale opportunity.
Delegate serving stations and specific tasks to Tasting Room Associate team.
Lead staff participation in location's contribution to the next season's quarterly cocktail menu.
Create, promote, execute and measure success of unique one-time or reoccurring HDC location events, such as Pop-Ups, Game Nights, Community & Cocktails and Artist Exhibits.
Incorporate local musicians into events as appropriate.
Develop, implement, and monitor results on new approaches to Happy Hour or Bartender Special type 1-off location cocktails.
Develop and maintain location's Large Group Tasting Reservation Binder.
Ensure that the day's reservations are text to the Team at the open.
Host, or designate a Host, for Special Guests dropping into the Tasting Room that day, ensuring Executive Authorized Transactions are processed correctly.
Lead staff in the Q4 Holiday Decorating and Retail Merchandise Reset on November 1st.
Lead staff in the Annual Holiday Clearance Sale and Retail Merchandise Reset on December 26th.
Staff Development Train, or re-train, as needed on POS System to ensure accurate ringing, application of discounts, tender processing and bagging with care objectives are met.
Reinforce daily staff dress code and appearance standards.
Serve as the primary trainer for all new hires on POS, product knowledge, serving, bartending, and building tours.
Emphasize the critical eye expectation for achieving HDC's Visually Intoxicating Experience hallmark.
Administration Daily Review of HDC Location emails and voicemails, responding and forwarding as appropriate.
Review execution of prior night's Closing Checklist, current day's Opening Checklist, working with Staff on improvement as needed.
Review the day's staffing schedule, adjusting as needed for unexpected callouts, large group tasting reservations and other factors likely to affect traffic flow.
If a Lunch Breaker is scheduled, ensure lunch times are texted to Team by noon.
Weekly Update location's entries on HDC Marketing shared calendars and planners, ensuring required timelines are met for development of supporting creative and social media pieces.
Establish a working relationship with the Marketing Team.
Monthly Update count of Gift Cards on-hand, both variable load and pre-loaded customer accommodation plastic cards, with recommendation to the GM if additional cards are needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
