East West Tea (Yogi) is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment used in the production and packaging of Yogi products.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician regularly inspects equipment, structures or material, provides preventative maintenance, and repairs machine as required.
This role provides the necessary electrical, mechanical and general maintenance expertise and support for smooth operation of the plant and facility.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician follows established work guidelines, procedures, or verbal instructions for most assignments, but must have the ability to independently troubleshoot and problem solve.
Adherence to FDA CFR 111 and all company procedures involving health, safety, and food safety while completing work is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN:
Maintain all necessary documentation of preventative maintenance & repairs.
Timely author concise reports describing work performed, i.
e.
troubleshooting, repairing, sanitizing, adjusting, calibrating and changing parts or other activities related to production or support equipment.
Troubleshoot, analyze and repair automated production equipment; fix defective parts.
Monitor in order to construe slight manufacturing imperfections in automated production equipment.
Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulation as well as other departmental policies and procedures.
Help to develop proper safety techniques.
Perform detailed preventative maintenance as assigned on various equipment, production systems or processes.
Reading blueprints, diagrams, specifications, work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
Extremely detailed craftsmanship.
A clean and organized work area and equipment.
Effectively and safely operate standard electrical and mechanical tools.
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:
Must possess a current general PJ (Plant Journey license), or LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) license from the State of Oregon.
Experience in a manufacturing or high-speed production environment, preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot up to 480v and low voltage electrical systems, AC and DC.
Single phase and three phase.
General understanding of programmable controllers (PLCs), Allen Bradley programming a plus.
Experience with highspeed packaging equipment.
Experience with low pressure pneumatic and associated controls, pneumatic ladder logic a plus.
Experience with vacuum transfer systems.
Knowledge and use of all measuring instruments, be able to work down to.

In-depth knowledge of the metric system:
bolt and thread sizes, pipe sizes, etc.
Must be 18 years of age to satisfy FDA CFR111 Be self-motivated and a positive team player able to interact with management and production personnel consistently.
Flexible with work schedule to train on alternate shifts with other subject matter experts.
