The University of Oregon Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Duck Athletic Fund Intern - Donor Relations & Events. The Duck Athletic Fund is the fundraising arm of Oregon Athletics. Responsibilities include assisting with all donor events, aiding with donor communications and relations, website management, assisting with Oregon Club booster activities and helping with Oregon game day needs for various sports. Position also includes daily office support and other duties as assigned. This position will serve 10-12 months between January 2015 and January 2016. Position carries an hourly rate of $9.25, with time & a half for any weekly hours over 40; no benefits are included. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in athletic administration or related field
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Very high attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills
Team-player attitude
Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
