Description: The Group Supervisor is responsible for devising, implementing, coordinationg and directly administering methods of training for funded workers in the areas of work behavior and vocational skills while maintaining quality standards of production and the timely completion of all assigned production work.
Duties: A. Habilitation
with habilitation staff to develop and implement downtime activities in the shop and community, preferably job related, whenever actual work is not available.
2.Participate in goal setting for funded workers.
3.Maintain client log notes on skills acquired, behavior problems, referrals to supported work job, and contacts with other agencies.

7.Maintain behavior:
a. In conjunction with Case Coordinator, assist with the development and implementation of behavior management programs;

c. Crisis intervention with potentially violent clients.
8.Assist in the evaluation of new/perspective clients.
9.Assist clients in wheel chairs with transferring in bathroom. Assist severely disabled clients to care for toileting and menstrual problems.

1.Distribute work, supplies and tools to workers.
2.Ensure that all work is completed on schedule. Report shortages and other production

4.Maintain written records of all work assigned to area. Tag all material leaving the area. Maintain accurate and current daily production records and inventory.
5.Requisition tools and supplies as necessary for production.
6.Ensure equitable distribution of work to all clients by giving intensive support to individuals with more severe disabilities and request additional help as necessary.
7.Assist in job breakdowns for accessibility, writing task analysis as necessary.
8.Ensure all work is done as piecework, if practical.

C.Miscellaneous (5%25, E)
1.Maintain tools and equipment. Report faulty and broken equipment.

D.Safety (5%25, E)
1.Responsible for safety and welfare of yourself and others, to include but not be limited to: proper operation of machines and tools, use proper lifting techniques, and the proper operation of forklifts and vehicles.
2.Ensure safety requirements are practiced as outlined in the safety manual.
3.Train and assist clients in fire/emergency evacuation and assist clients in wheelchairs and those with severe physical disabilities during fire drills/emergency evacuations.
Qualifications: and Experience
1.High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of college level work.
2.Two years experience with the MR/DD population, preferably in the vocational training field.
B.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licenses
1.Ability to work effectively and efficiently with people with disabilities.
2.Ability to write clearly and concisely, communicate well verbally.
3.Valid Oregon Driver''s License and insurable under PBC/PBPS insurance policies.
4.Ability to work without close supervision.
5.Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential materials.
6.Ability to learn and apply applicable laws.
7.Understand and be able to utilize the principles of behavior management and task analysis.
8.Have mechanical aptitude.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
